REGISTRATION PROCESS

Please note that the registration process takes a few weeks. It is very rare that we are unable to find a place on a team for players – if that’s the case we will contact you early in the process to let you know.

Teams will be released after the current season finishes. The Committee has to find Coaches and Team Managers for each team and walk them through all steps in order for us to comply with our Child Safety Standards – this can take a while!

So we ask you all to be patient whilst us volunteers do our best in putting together teams for your players as quickly as we can 🙂

Registration for Winter 2021 is a TWO STEP process

Step 1 – Complete the registration form at PlayHQ

This is easier to do on a computer rather than a phone

Step 2 – Pay for your club membership and any uniforms here.

There are 2 options for paying your Winter Season membership fee

1 – Click the button below to pay $290 through our website

2 – Bank transfer of $280 (a saving of $10 in lieu of the Stripe fees charged through our website)

FEES EXPLAINED

1. Basketball Victoria insurance cover fee $25.  This fee is an annual fee paid through PlayHQ. BVic have given all participants who registered in Jan 2020 an extra year coverage to Jan 2022 to cover the loss of playing last year.

2. $290 Registration Fee. Paid on our website which covers the following –

Dunkers Club Fee – $65
  • Covers trophies & medals / Coaching kit and medical supplies / coaches gifts / Presentation day expenses / website/admin fees)
MEBA Fees – $225
  • Team sheet fees for 18 rounds  – Club pays for Elimination Final and Grand Final
  • Door entry fees – The $3 per person entry fee has been calculated into MEBA’s fee which means no further costs throughout the season
DISCOUNTS

$10 Discount available to those who pay via Bank Transfer.

  • We’re finding that the fees that Stripe and PlayHQ charge add up quite a bit so in order to save you some $$ we’re offering payments via Bank transfer to save you a bit.

 

PLAYING AGES
Summer season cutoffs are “under the age of the prescribed competition (8,10,12,14,16,18 and 23) on the 30th June in the year prior to which the competition commences”.

Winter Season cutoffs are “under the age of the prescribed competition (8,10,12,14,16,18 and 23) on the 31st December in the year prior to which the competition commences”.
